Free Debate (FD), an entirely not-for-profit organisation, deliver effective and fun coaching programs through Western Chances to Year 9 students over a 4 week period. The idea is to help people gain skills in communication and persuasion.

FD operates with the aim of helping schools and students to develop confidence in public speaking, as well as assisting with the development of critical thinking skills that allow for articulate and reasoned debate.
Debate training is an excellent tool for developing confidence, intellectual skills, teamwork and self-esteem for individuals, but it's also a fantastic way to build pride at the school and community level.
