Helen has over 40 years experience as a teacher and principal in a number of public and private schools across Melbourne. She has been involved in leading these schools to academic and overall organisational success.
Helen has completed a T.I.T.C., Bachelor of Education, Masters of Education Studies, and a Doctorate in Education (continuing).
A passionate educator, Helen has also been a co-author of children's books, teacher guides and Curricula and a Manager of VECCI’s Teacher Release into Industry Program.
An active community leader, Helen is currently a Board Member RVPPA,
Deputy Chairman Sandringham Community (Bendigo) Bank and President, Lions Club Sandringham.
In her role as Executive Officer, Helen is focused on the ongoing development of Western Chances programs, networks, schools engagement and partner relationships and in growing the organisation overall.

Kimberly Palmer

Marketing & Development Manager

Kimberly joins Western Chances after six years of running a successful marketing and events consultancy business, Brazen Productions. She is also the founder of national networking group, Networx Marketers Meetings.
Kimberly was inspired to join the Western Chances team when she learned of their work, having been the successful recipient of several scholarships and understanding their critical importance for more than their financial value. Kimberly's awards have included an international marketing internship in London (granted by Monash University), participation in the Foundation for Young Australian's Leadership week in 2001 and a Churchill Fellowship in 2005.
Kimberly became a true "Westie" in 2007, when she bought her first home in Maidstone.
Kimberly holds a Bachelor of Business in Marketing, a Bachelor of Business in Management and is completing a Graduate Diploma in Psychology.

Suzanne joined Western Chances in April, 2008, to head up the new LINKS employment initiative.
