Pedals on the Path

This year's Pedals on the Path event is on Sunday 11th October, starting from the W. G. Cresser Reserve in Seaholme with registration at noon and the event starting at 1.15pm. You can walk, run or bike different lengths. All proceeds go to Western Chances. Visit their website for more information:

KPMG/Western Chances cocktail party

KPMG hosted a cocktail party for Western Chances at their Collins Street offices on Wednesday, 2 September. KPMG Chairman, Michael Andrew, co-hosted the event with Terry Bracks.
The special guest speaker was Gemeda Adem, a scholarship recipient who first received support from Western Chances in 2004 and is now studying International Relations at RMIT University.
The other special guest speaker was the Honorable Steve Bracks who spoke about his work as an ambassador in Timor Leste (East Timor).

Western Chances celebrates 5 years of achievements

Western Chances celebrated five years of assisting talented young people in the western suburbs to realise their potential through the provision of scholarships and other related programs.
As a long term supporter of Western Chances, Western Bulldogs Chief Executive, Campbell Rose, MC-ed the event at Whitten Oval’s new Infill Building.
Western Chances Founding Chair, Terry Bracks, and Patron Justice Frank Vincent AO QC also spoke about Western Chances’ achievements and the impact the organisation has had on young people in the western suburbs.
