Western Chances Celebrates 2 Years of Achievements

Western Chances celebrated the achievements of scholarship recipients at our two year anniversary event on Wednesday 31st May 2006.

The celebration this year focused on the achievements of the young people and their motivation to make the most of their talents.
“Our achievements are very much a community achievement and we could not have assisted these young people to realise their potential if it wasn’t for the involvement of the community, businesses and generous sponsors”, said Terry Bracks.
We thank Campbell Rose, Chief Executive Western Bulldogs Football Club, for his donation of the Presidents Room at the Whitten Oval where we held the celebrations, and also for the ongoing support the Club provides Western Chances as a key community partner in the West.
The night showcased Western Chances scholarships recipients in areas such as music, dance, singing and academic achievements through live performances and speeches.
