Good Business Forum 2020

The Good Business Forum was held online this year, but energy and excitement was high as ever. We raised over $55,000 which equates to around 55 annual scholarships, thanks to our generous sponsors and supporters – an incredible result!

We loved hearing keynote speaker Dr Rebecca Huntley’s insights on how the changing world continues to impact young people. Attendees were charmed by Master of ceremonies Tamara Oudyn, and moved by our panel of talented scholarship recipients whose presentations demonstrated the difference one scholarship can make.

A massive thank you to our major event sponsors, Plenary and Evolution Rail for their generous sponsorship and commitment to helping young people in Melbourne’s west achieve their potential.

Many thanks also to The Good Business Foundation for sponsoring tables so recipients, alumni and scholarship nominators could join us.

The major prize and lottery draw always adds an extra layer of excitement to the day. Thank you to this year’s wonderful lottery prize donor:

Cube Networks who donated a Piaggio Fly scooter valued at $4,400

And to our amazing raffle prize donors:

Peter Bartholomew, MoVida Melbourne

RACV luxury resort escape

Schwartz Media

Kim Ward (The Acorn Retreat)

Nespresso for a premium coffee machine

Sun Theatre in Yarraville

A Flower Affair in Newport and Yarraville

Gaye Hamilton

Michael Smith

And a big thank you to everyone who joined us for a jam-packed afternoon of networking, feasting, listening and learning as we transformed the biggest Western Chances event online.
